Location: Peabody, MA Department: Customs BrokerageSchedule: Full-time | Monday through FridayAs an Entry Writer I in our Customs House Brokerage division, you’ll play a critical role in moving goods across borders while expanding your current knowledge of U.S. Customs brokerage. This is an ideal opportunity for detail-oriented professionals who want hands-on experience in international logistics and compliance.What You’ll DoPrepare and process import documentation in accordance with U.S. Customs regulationsClassify goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) with guidanceMonitor shipments and provide timely updates to internal teamsIdentify routine issues and escalate when needed to keep shipments movingMaintain accurate records and support compliance effortsWhat You Bring1–5 years of experience in customs documentationStrong attention to detail and ability to follow established proceduresClear communication skills and a collaborative mindsetWillingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, regulated environmentWhy OCEANAIROCEANAIR is a family-owned business with more than 40 years of experience in the logistics and customs brokerage industry.
