We’re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping team as a Shift Lead at our family-owned motel in Brookings.
Deal Breakers:
- A current resume must accompany your application.
- Must live within 15 minutes of the motel.
- Must be 18 or older.
1-3 years experience is required.
What you’ll do:
- assign daily rooms to housekeepers
- strip and check rooms for quality
- handle guest stay-overs
- occasionally clean rooms and run laundry
- walk, carry supplies (up to 30 pounds), and use stairs throughout your shift
- turn in tips (trustworthiness is important)
- manage inventory
- communicate regularly with the office to keep them updated on the status of rooms
- may be required to clean rooms when short-staffed
