Ocean State Air Solutions is looking for an HVAC Apprentice who has already built a foundation through technical education and at least one year of field experience but is ready to take the next step through a structured apprenticeship opportunity.

We're not looking for someone starting from scratch. We want someone who understands the basics of HVAC, has spent time working in the field, and is eager to continue developing their skills under experienced professionals.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an HVAC trade school or technical training program

• Minimum of one year of hands-on HVAC field experience

• Has not yet completed or been enrolled in a formal state HVAC apprenticeship program

• Foundational knowledge of residential heating, cooling, and ventilation systems

• Familiarity with HVAC tools, equipment, and basic installation practices

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to apply technical training in the field

• Willingness to learn from experienced installers and follow established procedures

• Dependable work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety

• Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• EPA certification or willingness to obtain it

• Experience assisting with residential HVAC installations, replacements, or new construction

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

What You'll Do

You'll work alongside experienced HVAC professionals on residential system installations, equipment replacements, and new construction projects throughout the East Bay area.

You'll build on your existing education and field experience while developing stronger installation, troubleshooting, and technical skills. You'll also gain practical experience with equipment setup, ductwork, system components, safety procedures, and industry standards.
