About the Role
Ocean’s 18 Mini Golf & Bar is a high-profile entertainment venue located inside Ocean Casino Resort. We are seeking a Director of Operations to strengthen our leadership team and ensure consistent, high-quality operational execution as the business continues to grow.
This role partners closely with the General Manager, with clearly defined areas of responsibility, to ensure consistent execution, strong team alignment, and a high-quality guest experience. The General Manager leads guest experience, team culture, and the overall energy of the venue, while the Director of Operations focuses on operational execution, systems, and consistency within a regulated casino environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced hospitality operator who values structure, accountability, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead day-to-day operational execution for Ocean’s 18 bar and the adjacent daiquiri bar
• Partner with the General Manager to support overall venue performance
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and labor discipline across all dayparts and seasons
• Manage bar and beverage operations including inventory, ordering, variance, and cost control
• Enforce SOPs, service standards, and casino compliance requirements
• Serve as Manager-on-Duty
• Coach, support, and hold staff and supervisors accountable
• Coordinate with Ocean Casino security and operations teams
• Identify and resolve operational issues proactively
• Maintain clear, consistent communication within the leadership team

Required Experience & Qualifications
• 8–12 years of hospitality management experience
• Casino, resort, or high-volume nightlife experience strongly preferred
• Proven background in operations leadership
• Direct experience managing bar and beverage programs
• Strong labor planning and cost control skills
• Experience enforcing standards and managing performance
• Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays
• Hands-on leadership style
• Familiarity with inventory systems (BevSpot experience a plus)
• POS experience (Square POS a plus)
