- About the Role
The Promotions/Special Events Coordinator will assist in the planning, preparation, communication, set-up and close-out, and onsite execution of Special Events and Promotions
Position Responsibilities
- Plans and coordinates daily special events and promotions.
- Coordinates the disseminate of prizes, gifts and or tickets related to special events and promotions.
- Coordinates advisories for all special events and promotions
- Creates and distributes special events and promotional daily reports and customer feedback
- Follows all departmental policies and procedures.
- Addresses and resolves all customer services issues and presents to management
- Builds a strong special event and loyalty team that delivers high guest satisfaction, excitement and fun
- Maintain confidentially of all Ocean Casino Resort Atlantic City trade secrets and proprietary information including business processes, customer lists, marketing plans and any other confidential information
- Comply with all New Jersey regulatory requirements, Departmental and Company Policies including Ocean Casino Resort Atlantic City’s business ethics guidelines
- This position issues comps but does not comp to the level which requires a casino key employee license in accordance with NJ CASINO CONTROL ACT & COMMISSION REGULATIONS
Essential Functions
- Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25lbs
- Basic computer skills are required
- High school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred

- Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $49,000 annually. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including experience and expertise and may vary from the amount listed above.
