What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tram/Shuttle Driver position at Ocean Breeze Waterpark?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide safe transportation to and from parking areas by driving trams and fifteen passenger vans
- Enforce and inform all safety rules of park to riders
- Obey all traffic laws
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other team members
- Provide superior guest service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner
- Assist customers with questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark
- Follow park policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years or older
- Provide a valid driver’s license, CDL preferred but not required
- History of safe driving
- Ability to accept guidance and supervision
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate effectively with public, customers, and staff members
- Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
- Ability to work in indoor and shaded outdoor weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to operate trams and fifteen passenger vans during the daytime, nighttime, and in all weather conditions

We also offer a retention bonus of up to $500 for team members that average a certain number of hours per week during the qualifying time period and work through a specified date. Details about eligibility requirements for the Retention Bonus will be provided at a later date.
