What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parking Attendant position at Ocean Breeze Waterpark?
No prior experience required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct traffic into lot and parking spaces
- Crowd control for tram stops
- Assist customers with street crossing
- Maintain organization of parking lot
- Properly use all safety equipment provided
- Perform opening and closing procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other employees
- Provide superior guest service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner
- Assist customers with all questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark
- Follow all park policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be 16 years or older
- Ability to accept guidance and supervision
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate effectively with public, customers and staff members
- Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
- Energy and enthusiasm for long days
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/ or position items weighing up to 25 lbs, or team lift above 25 pounds
