What are the responsibilities and job description for the First Aid Attendant position at Ocean Breeze Waterpark?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing rapid response and care to all basic First Aid and EMS needs that arise at the park
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other employees
- Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner
- Assist customers with all questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark including facility layout and amenities
- Follow all park policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid EMT license, paramedic preferred
- Must have at least 3 years practical EMT experience
- Ability to accept guidance and supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively with public, customers, and staff members
- Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
- Energy and enthusiasm for long days
- Ability to work indoor and outdoor conditions and take precautions, including hydration and sun-protection
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to or in excess of 25 pounds.
