Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Residential Swimming Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing residential pools to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. The technician will perform routine pool maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and handle repairs using various tools and techniques. Should also be able to plumb all pool equipoment on new installs. This position offers an opportunity to work independently while providing high-quality service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular pool plumbing of Hayward Equipment.
- Conduct routine pool maintenance tasks such as water testing, chemical balancing, filter and pool cleaning.
- Diagnose and repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators using hand tools and power tools.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with pool systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements of parts.
- Inspect pools for safety hazards or equipment malfunctions and report findings to management.
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing client questions or concerns.
Experience
- Prior experience as a service technician (plumbing) or in pool maintenance is required;.
- Mechanical knowledge related to pool equipment repair is required.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools used in pool equipment repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques and chemical balancing procedures is a plus.
- Previous experience working with maintenance or service equipment will be advantageous. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about pool care who enjoy working independently while delivering exceptional service to residential clients.
Pay: $22.65 - $28.00 per hour
