OB Speech is a growing pediatric speech, language, and literacy practice located in the heart of Ocean Beach, San Diego. We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) to join our collaborative team. Both full-time and part-time applicants are welcome to apply.


About Our Practice:


At OB Speech, we believe exceptional therapy starts with supporting our therapists. We intentionally maintain a positive, team-oriented culture where clinicians have the time, resources, and flexibility needed to provide outstanding care.


We are a close-knit team of four SLPs and a dedicated office manager serving children throughout San Diego. Our clients range from ages 2–21, with the majority being toddlers through elementary-aged children.


About This Position:


This position includes services across multiple settings and is ideal for clinicians who enjoy variety in their workday. Settings include in-home for early intervention clients and their families, local private schools during the school year, and clinic-based services in our Ocean Beach office.


Applicants should be comfortable traveling throughout the San Diego area (within 10 miles of the office) and enjoy working collaboratively with families, teachers, and other professionals across settings.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide speech-language therapy services in homes, our Ocean Beach clinic, preschools, and private schools
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized and informal assessment measures
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Build positive, collaborative relationships with clients and their families
  • Complete daily documentation and progress reporting
  • Collaborate with teachers, physicians, and other service providers
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development


Qualifications:


Required:

  • Fully licensed (CCC-SLP)
  • Current California SLP license
  • Confidence in diagnosis and treatment of communication disorders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between service locations


Preferred:

  • Experience with toddlers and early intervention populations
  • Experience providing services in homes, preschools, or community-based settings
  • Familiarity with Ocean Beach and surrounding San Diego communities
  • Interest in speech sound disorders, language disorders, and/or literacy intervention


Compensation & Benefits - Full-Time Employees (30 hours/week)


  • Base pay exceeding $70,000 annually for a 30-hour schedule
  • Base pay exceeding $90,000 annually for a 40-hour schedule
