Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Cooks to join our culinary team. Ideal candidates should be passionate about food and cooking, and show innate care for the quality of their food, with a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. This role involves preparing elevated high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment while adhering to our restaurant's standards and menu specifications.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to the Executive Chef's recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling, storage and labeling practices.
- Collaborate with all other staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery.
- Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in catering events as required, providing exceptional service to guests.
- Perform all daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is required.
- Strong ability to learn quickly.
- Knowledge of food handling, meal preparation, and kitchen operations.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver products, frequently weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Be able to maintain a clean and neat appearance with good hygiene.

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
