Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of cleaning technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure timely completion of all cleaning duties
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to verify cleanliness, safety standards, and adherence to protocols
- Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company policies
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, laundry services, and custodial materials to ensure availability and proper usage
- Coordinate with management to develop cleaning schedules for various areas such as guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, kitchens, and laundry rooms
- Oversee janitorial operations in commercial or hospitality settings, including hotel or hospital environments
- Address any issues or concerns promptly, providing guidance and support to team members for continuous improvement
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning services with a strong background in custodial or janitorial work
- Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing teams effectively
