Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapy Technician, you will play an essential role in supporting occupational therapists in delivering high-quality therapeutic services. You will assist with patient care, treatment preparation, and clinic operations to help patients improve function and overall well-being. This position is ideal for someone who is compassionate, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a clinical rehabilitation setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with licensed occupational therapists to assist with implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Prepare treatment areas and maintain therapy equipment to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
• Support and guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities with professionalism and empathy.
• Observe and document patient performance and progress during therapy sessions.
• Assist in educating patients and families on home exercise programs and therapeutic strategies.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding patient progress and care plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Kinesiology or exercise science degree preferred but not required.
• Kinesiology degree highly recommended.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitative setting is highly desirable.
• Spanish speaking highly recommended.
• Strong interest in occupational therapy, physical therapy, or rehabilitation services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clinical instructions accurately.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
