Duties

- Perform surgical procedures and assist in anesthesia administration.
- Utilize veterinary terminology effectively when communicating with staff and pet owners.
- Provide guidance on pet grooming, nutrition, and overall care.
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate pet owners on preventive care, including animal husbandry practices.
- Handle animals safely and humanely during examinations and procedures.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Proficiency in animal handling techniques, including restraint methods for various species.
- Knowledge of animal physiology to understand health issues and treatment options.
- Experience with animal catheterization procedures is preferred.
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology to facilitate effective communication within the clinic.
- Previous experience in a veterinary setting is highly desirable, showcasing an understanding of animal care protocols.
- Skills in dog handling and grooming are considered a plus.
