About the Role
We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This position requires an in-person interview prior to hire. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift experience, enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and take pride in maintaining accuracy, organization, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments.
- Prepare customer orders for shipping and receiving.
- Perform inventory control, cycle counts, and maintain accurate warehouse records.
- Recover and handle batteries following company safety procedures.
- Assist with customer installations as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Support occasional local deliveries to help maintain excellent customer relationships.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience required.
- Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to become certified).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, bend, and walk throughout the shift.
- Basic warehouse, shipping/receiving, and inventory experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
