Full job description
Move trailers in yard and in and out of doors as needed for warehouse. Occasionally make trips to storage yards and/or Ryder. Inspect equipment before use in yard to make sure it is not in need of repairs
Job Responsibilities
- Move trailers throughout the yard and in and out of warehouse doors as needed.
- Occasionally make trips to storage yards and/or Ryder locations.
- Inspect trailers and equipment before use to ensure they are safe and do not require repairs.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized yard area.
- Communicate any equipment issues or safety concerns to management.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required.
- Previous yard driving or trailer-moving experience preferred.
- Must be comfortable operating trailers in a warehouse/yard environment.
- Must be able to complete pre-use equipment inspections.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
