Are you a skilled dog groomer with a passion for providing top-notch grooming services?

OC Pup Scouts is a beloved dog walking and training company in the Orange County area that is establishing a luxury mobile dog grooming business dedicated to delivering exceptional grooming experiences right at our clients' doorsteps.

We are currently seeking an experienced, trustworthy, reliable, and entrepreneurial groomer to join our team and help us build outstanding grooming services for our furry clients Thursday - Saturday (3 days per week, hours TBD).

Responsibilities:

- Perform full grooming services, including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling for various dog breeds and sizes

- Safely, attentively, and compassionately handle dogs during grooming procedures

- Assess and address any skin issues, matting, or other grooming-related concerns.

- Ensure a clean and sanitary work environment, including proper disinfection of grooming area, tools, and equipment

- Provide excellent customer service: listen to client requests and communicate effectively to understand their grooming preferences

- Maintain accurate records of grooming services, client preferences, and any special instructions or requirements

- Adhere to established grooming standards and stay updated on the latest grooming techniques and industry trends

-Ability to handle and lift heavy animals

-Ability to use basic technology systems for booking, invoicing, and communicating with clients

- Safely drive company mobile grooming vehicle

- Positively represent the Pup Scouts brand and be able to cross-sell grooming clients for dog walking and/or dog training services

- MUST be highly motivated, sales-driven, and focused on achieving targets to help expand and grow the grooming business.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a professional dog groomer, with a minimum of 3-5 years of grooming experience

- Proficiency in various grooming techniques, including breed-specific cuts and styling

- Extensive knowledge of different dog breeds, their specific grooming needs, and common health issues

- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality grooming services

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service

- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic

- Patience and a genuine love for dogs with the ability to handle dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and special needs

- Certification from a recognized grooming school or organization

- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Pay:

This is a newer business venture from an established brand in the Orange County area. Be your own boss and be in charge of your own growth! With a small established client base from day one, you should expect minimum year one pay around $50,000 with potential earnings up to $120,000. **Keep in mind, these numbers are based on an hourly base and your sales performance, which will determine your ability to reach commission targets.
