What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front and Back Office Medical Assistant position at OC Integrative Health?
This is a hybrid position with a strong emphasis on marketing and patient engagement, combined with front and back office clinical support.
You’ll be the bridge between our mission and the community—helping us attract, nurture, and retain patients through authentic connection, storytelling, and outreach.
Your Impact Will Include:
Marketing & Growth (Primary Focus)
Support and help execute marketing campaigns and initiatives
Manage and grow clinic social media presence (content, engagement, messaging)
Assist with patient communication strategies (email, text, follow-ups)
Help create a welcoming and consistent brand experience from first contact to long-term care
Identify opportunities to improve patient acquisition and retention
Participate in community outreach and promotional efforts
Help share patient success stories (while maintaining confidentiality)
Front Office Experience
Be the first impression: greet and connect with patients in a warm, genuine way
Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and guide new patients into care
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
Process payments and maintain accurate records
Ensure every patient feels seen, heard, and supported
Back Office Support
Assist in routing patients through therapies and treatments
Help set up and prepare therapy rooms and equipment
Support clinical flow to ensure a seamless patient experience
Clinic Environment
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming space
Take pride in the overall presentation of the clinic
