Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of fresh sandwiches, wraps, and salads according to established recipes and customer preferences
- Brew, serve, and customize a wide range of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions with accuracy and efficiency
- Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering recommendations to enhance the guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food prep area, café space, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Process cash transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold health regulations and safety standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is highly valued
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
