Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough from scratch, ensuring proper texture and consistency for each batch
- Top pizzas with fresh ingredients following established recipes and menu specifications
- Operate various kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and prep stations safely and efficiently
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitizing procedures to uphold cleanliness standards
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure perfect crusts and toppings every time
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties or ingredient combinations
- Support food production during peak hours by managing multiple orders quickly without sacrificing quality
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, especially within a restaurant or catering environment
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with culinary techniques such as braising, poaching, and grilling
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures
- Experience operating kitchen equipment like ovens, mixers, and slicing tools
- Ability to work efficiently in high-volume production settings while adhering to recipe standards
- Background in food industry roles such as culinary experience or restaurant service is highly desirable
- Excellent food handling skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation
