- Assistant the aquatics manager in the supervision of the aquatic programs and acts as head lifeguard. Assist with planning and administering a wide range of fairly typical, conventional and well-established basic aquatic activities.
- Assist manager in plans and coordination of details for reoccurring and nonrecurring aquatic, fitness, instructional, and joint community programs.
- Assist with the process to evaluate the effectiveness of the aquatic programs. Assist with program objectives from the standpoint of participant response and resources.
- Assist with the development and update of the Standard Operating Procedures for the aquatic facilities, programs and enforces policies.
- Interviews and selects such staff and provides them with required orientation, training and management in order to meet all activity needs, provides transition training to outstanding volunteers to permit theme to serve in new and different areas.

- Water Safety Instructor - Aquatic Facilities Operator (AFO) or Pool Operator certification
