What You’ll Be Doing, Stop Scanning and Read This Part
Oversee and lead the daily activities of blending operators to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
Provide training and mentorship to new and existing operators on safety procedures, equipment operation, and blending processes.
Set up, operate, and clean blending equipment efficiently and safely.
Select and weigh ingredients according to formulas using scoops, spoons, or automatic feeders.
Operate blenders, mixers, agitators, and other machinery to blend ingredients according to specific formulas.
Start machinery, monitor operations, and shut down equipment when processing is complete.
Transfer finished products from blenders into barrels or containers.
Clean and maintain work areas, machinery, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Ensure batch record integrity and maintain accurate digital inputs in compliance with company protocols.
Lead daily shift coordination, ensuring sufficient staffing and smooth operations.
Provide leadership and support to the team, addressing issues and maintaining a positive, productive environment.
Lead continuous improvement efforts to optimize blending processes, increase efficiency, and enhance product quality.
Collaborate with other departments to identify and address food safety risks throughout production with other food safety team members.
Ensure and promote food safety throughout the facility and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ve Done And Who You Are
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment; previous blending experience is a plus.
Proven leadership experience and ability to train, motivate, and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific work instructions.
Experience supporting a culture built on collaboration, sharing ideas, and celebrating success.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Proficient with Windows and basic software systems.
Basic understanding of math (kilograms, grams, pounds).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with Warehouse and R&D teams.
Someone that can partner and influence at all levels of the organization.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a fast-moving environment.
A relentless drive to get things done.
