This includes controlling the flow of materials and supplies, tracking and analyzing inventory maintenance and developing protocols for loss mitigation.Who You AreNot afraid to get out into a manufacturing operations environment to work shoulder-to-shoulder with plant leadership to resolve problems and challenges.Adept at problem-solving and finding new perspectives, always looking for areas to continuously improve and drive the organization forward.Flexible, willing, and quick to learn new processes, new technology, and new ways of thinking.A people person, able to quickly build rapport and relationships at all levels of the organization from the CEO to production operators.Skilled at leading and influencing people across direct and cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:Identifying and reporting inventory inconsistencies and providing resolutionsDesign, review and modify inventory and materials management processes, procedures and reports for the purpose of improving and/or maintaining inventory accuracy and optimizing overall FG and Materials stock holdingProactively identify and work to address opportunities for improvement in stock storage and control of material. Take ownership for improvements and see them through to completionOversees cycle count program in coordination with Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Production Planning functionsSupport, direction and development of the cycle count teamOperate forklift/pallet jack as neededOther duties as assignedMust Have Requirements:Experience and desire to support a culture built on collaboration, sharing of ideas and celebration of successes as well as drive for positive outcomes with cross-functional teams.Demonstrates professionalism, integrity and leadership.Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or other related education preferred3-5 years of management experience, preferably at least 2 years in an inventory control positionExperience in a leadership position, preferably in a production roleKnowledge of manufacturing procedures and operationsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with suppliersComputer proficiency with MS OfficePhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, reachingOften sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Must be able to work near food ingredients, exposure to food allergensLocation: inside an air-conditioned manufacturing and warehouse environmentYou must be able to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standardsYou must be able to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standardsBenefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Flexible PTO, and stock options, as we strongly believe that every team member is important to our success.And last but never least…We value people who roll up their sleeves and support their fellow team members.
