Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Program Coordinator to oversee the development, implementation, and coordination of programs supporting children and individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for serving diverse populations. This role requires expertise in program management, staff supervision, and family engagement, while ensuring compliance with state and organizational standards.
This is a full-time position (30–40 hours per week), with a typical schedule of Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate programs tailored to meet the needs of individuals with developmental and behavioral health needs.
- Manage daily program operations to ensure alignment with organizational goals, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct intakes and enrollments, ensuring accurate documentation and smooth onboarding for new clients.
- Serve as a primary contact for families, building strong partnerships and ensuring they are supported and connected to resources.
- Oversee enrollment processes, monitor caseloads, and ensure services are delivered according to Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) or program requirements.
- Supervise and support program staff, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Collaborate with therapists, social workers, and community providers to coordinate care and address client needs.
- Maintain accurate records of program activities, budgets, and outcomes.
- Prepare reports for stakeholders detailing program progress, challenges, and improvements.
- Ensure compliance with state statutes (Minnesota DHS requirements for EIDBI/CTSS) and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in program management or service coordination, preferably in developmental disabilities, autism, or children’s mental health services.
- Experience conducting intakes, enrollments, or service coordination highly desirable.
- Strong administrative skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and documentation.
- Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Knowledge of behavioral health and developmental intervention practices a plus.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with families, staff, and community partners.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment and adapt to diverse needs.
