Team Leaders help meet manufacturing demand with a focus on safety, quality, OTD / schedule attainment, and productivity. The Team Leader works in a timely and efficient manner, producing quality results, in an atmosphere of continuous improvement. Manufacture the highest quality treatment equipment with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and assist Oakworks, in any capacity needed, to assure that production demands are achieved.
- Directs production employees within their department and at times directs other production employees as appropriate or necessary.
- Works as an integral member of the Oakworks Team and supports the goals of the company.
- Instill safety rules and safety awareness and ergonomics and safe workplace
- Advises supervisor with suggestions of methods to improve quality and efficiencies in department
- Responsible for departmental training of Quality Management System documentation, job training, and work instructions training
- Helps select, train, develop, evaluate, and motivate direct reports to increase productivity, promote excellence, and ensure that current and future staffing requirements are safely satisfied.
- Addresses concerns with employees regarding productivity, quality, and safety.
- Acts as a liaison with department management/subordinate levels to inform personnel of communications, decisions, policies and all matters that affect their performance, attitudes and results.
Requirements:
- Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 consecutive years of supervisory experience or successful completion of the Point Person Program at Oakworks.
- Prefer 2 Years work experience in Manufacturing or Specific Education or Training.
- Ability to read drawings, use tape measure, basic computer literacy, and a positive attitude are essential.
- Physical Requirements include ability to sit/stand/walk for extended periods of time on a daily basis, lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis, lift/reach/bend/stretch as necessary, work in a repetitive, side to side motion throughout the shift.
