Job Overview
The Marketing Intern will work closely with the marketing team to execute a variety of tasks, including video content creation, social media management, graphic design, and organizational projects. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, providing opportunities to develop marketing skills while contributing to the company’s branding and promotional efforts.
ResponsibilitiesVideo Content Creation
- Assist in capturing videos for community tours, long-form video shoots, reel-style videos, and other marketing content.
- Support video shoot logistics and post-production tasks as needed.
- Act as on-camera talent in showing apartment communities in our portfolio. Must have confidence in front of the camera and natural passion for showing off apartments.
- Estimated Time Commitment: 50 hours total.
Social Media Management (SOCi Platform)
- Brainstorm creative ideas for monthly SOCi posts to engage target audiences.
- Assist with SOCi post approvals, ensuring content aligns with brand standards.
- Estimated Time Commitment: 5-15 hours per month, depending on needs.
New Development Social Media Posting
- Create engaging social media posts for new development properties, including platforms such as Pinterest, to enhance brand visibility.
Collateral Design Creation
- Design business card files for team members.
- Develop floor plan leasing flyers for properties.
Ad-Hoc Design Projects
- Assist in creating custom flyers and other ad-hoc collateral as requested by internal ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure designs meet brand guidelines.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a college or university program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of video production and editing (familiarity with tools like Adobe Premiere, Capcut, or similar is a plus).
- Experience with social media platforms and content creation (experience with SOCi, Pinterest, or similar platforms is a plus).
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Familiarity with Google Drive and file management systems.
Logistics
- Duration: Temporary internship position (duration to be determined based on project needs and candidate availability).
- Compensation: $18/hour
- In-office 5-days week: Reynoldsburg, Ohio
- 5 days per week, approximately 40 hours per week
