Description:
We are seeking a Civil Engineer to support large-scale data center and infrastructure projects. This role will be heavily involved in site development, design coordination, and execution support across fast-paced construction environments.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical fundamentals, experience working on complex site development projects, and the ability to operate in a highly dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
This is not a purely office-based design role. The position requires consistent field presence, working directly with construction teams to support execution, resolve issues in real time, and ensure work is progressing according to plan.
This role will begin on a contract basis with the opportunity to convert to a full-time position based on performance and project needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support civil design and development for data center and infrastructure projects, including grading, drainage, and site layout
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and external engineering partners
- Assist in managing site development activities to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, and quality expectations
- Perform engineering calculations related to earthwork, drainage, and utility systems
- Spend time in the field supporting active construction, working directly with crews and superintendents
- Identify and resolve field issues in real time, providing practical engineering solutions
- Support permitting and regulatory compliance efforts
- Track project progress and assist in identifying and mitigating risks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 5 years of experience in civil engineering, focused on site development or construction support
- Experience supporting large-scale industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of grading, drainage, utilities, and site development design
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and construction documents
- Willingness and ability to spend significant time in the field supporting construction activities
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate with limited oversight
Preferred Experience:
- Experience supporting data center or mission-critical facility projects
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design tools
- Exposure to construction execution, field engineering, or contractor coordination
- Experience stamping or reviewing civil design packages is a plus
