What are the responsibilities and job description for the Healthcare Associate Attorney position at Oakstreet Attorney Search?
Oakstreet Attorney Search is assisting a large law firm in their search for a junior associate to join the firm's growing Healthcare practice. This associate will support two on-site partners in supporting healthcare providers with a wide range of regulatory and litigation-related needs involving Medicaid and Medicare, Certificate of Need Applications, licensure, surveys, and certification issues, and HIPAA and privacy laws. This role will also involve drafting and review of healthcare policies and regulations.
Qualified candidates must be licensed to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction, have excellent academic credentials, and must have at least one year of post law school practice experience involving healthcare regulations and/or litigation. Candidates must be available to work on-site in Raleigh, NC, and candidates willing to relocate to Raleigh immediately and work on-site will also be considered.
