What You’ll Do
As a Personal Assistant, you’ll walk alongside clients in their daily lives, teaching and supporting skills that foster independence and confidence. Every day brings new opportunities, such as:
- Assisting with money management and budgeting
- Encouraging healthy habits through meal prep, exercise, and nutrition
- Supporting household tasks and daily living skills
- Joining clients for social outings and recreational activities
- Helping with appointments, medication monitoring, and transportation
- Building social and emotional skills through one-on-one and community interaction
- Being a positive role model and trusted support in life’s big and small moments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Age 18
- Able to pass a health exam, drug test, and background check
- Reliable transportation
- Valid CA driver’s license, personal vehicle, minimum insurance coverage, and insurable under agency policy
