CAREGIVER : PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT : Part/Full time
*We are looking for energetic, creative and adaptable people to work with a 33 year old woman in a respectful, creative, home program. Serving this one client in her own home with autism diagnosis, verbal limitations and behavioral challenges. Experience with children/young adults a plus. We will train as you build relationship.

THINGS WE DO:
*Seeing opportunities for learning in many life situations
*Creatively introducing a variety of activities
*Help with preparation and set up for meals
*Helping with hygiene: including bath and teeth brushing
*Helping develop meaningful socially interactive relationships
*Taking her on outings
*Maintaining a clean environment.
ENGAGING WITH THE CLIENT and SUPPORT:
*Provide guidance, support, and other assistance in problem-solving and communication around everyday activities and events
*Provide companionship during regular activities around the home and community
*Creatively introduce and facilitate a variety of activities; taking medication accurately and reliably; meal preparation; personal hygiene; grooming; chores around the house; shopping.
*Provide assistance, safety, physical and emotional support, and opportunities for life expansion and daily living skills.
COMPENSATION:
$21/Hour (raises provided with longevity)
HOURS:
PART TIME or FULL TIME
*Positions open 24-40 hours a week: shifts are days, evenings and/or overnights.
*There is some flexibility in the scheduling. We will work with you.
*One year commitment requested.
*Clean DMV, own car, smoke free environment. CPR certified, (or willing to become certified).
