Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic and providing exceptional service to our patients and their parents.
Duties
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support both clinical and administrative functions, including but not limited to:
- Assisting healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Performing intake assessments and documenting patient histories
- Measuring and recording vital signs accurately
- Administering medications as directed by physicians
- Managing electronic health records (EHR) systems for efficient patient data management
- Utilizing medical terminology to communicate effectively with the healthcare team
- Immunizations and basic labs
- Providing excellent patient service through effective communication and empathy
Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in a medical setting, CNA or Medical Assistant Certification Preferred, but will train the right person
- Computer EMR with medical technology preferred
- Must be dependable and have great communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.25 - $20.00 per hour
