As a Van Driver, you will provide transportation for our consumers to and from our youth partial care program located in Lumberton, Burlington County, New Jersey.
Schedule: Varied Hours
Responsibilities:
- Drive consumers to and from Adult Partial Care programs
- Transport to consumers scheduled for intake/enrollment
- Organize and keep records regarding transportation schedule and mileage
- Consumer safety, including mandatory fastening of seatbelts of driver and all passengers
- Maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness
- Never leave consumers on the van unattended
- Provide for consumer safety including mandatory fastening of seat belts for all occupants of vans
- Ensure infants and children are secured in appropriate car seats
- Notify supervisory staff of any van maintenance, safety issues, or consumer issues
- Assist with building support activities as needed: mail delivery, meal preparation and serving, program related errands, light housekeeping, supply organization, and vehicle cleaning
- Maintain courteous interactions with consumers and community members
- Other duties assigned

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent plus 5 years full time experience with children or youth OR;
Associate's degree plus 2 years full time experience with children or youth OR;
Bachelor’s (BA/BS)d degree preferred;
Good driving record and good driving skills; Good verbal & written communication skills and be team oriented
