The Mobile Outreach Coordinator acts as a bridge between mental health services and the community - facilitating timely access to care, building partnerships, and raising awareness about mental health and substance use issues. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain positive professional relationships with community resources, facilitating access to care for high-risk individuals within our service areas.
Schedule is Tuesday-Saturday - Day and Evening shifts vary depending on program needs and events. Day : 930a-5p/Evening 1130a-8p. Candidate must be flexible/available for weekend and evening events.
Salary range: $55,000-$60,000
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direct supervision of the Admissions Director, the Mobile Outreach Coordinator is responsible for the following:
- Manage utilization of the agency’s Mobile Health and Wellness vans at community events and/or outreach events with Oaks programs and services;
- Internal coordination with Oaks programs to rotate use of agency Mobile Health & Wellness vans;
- External coordination with partner providers, county government, law enforcement, schools, and other community partners to identify and coordinate use of the Mobile Health and Wellness van at locations throughout the community;
- Identify community events and opportunities for agency marketing and presence of Mobile Health and Wellness vans;
- Create and maintain an organized listing of referral sources/partner organizations based on services provided by Oaks and the needs of communities served;
- Facilitate presentations about Oaks services for community partners;
- Perform outreach phone calls and visits to community agencies;
- Internal coordination with agency programs and operational leadership to facilitate transitions and admissions between programs;
- External coordination with community partners to market services and facilitate referrals/linkages to Oaks programming;
- Attendance at internal programmatic meetings and external community meetings, as designated;
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with community members, leaders, and other organizations;
- Act as a spokesperson for the organization within the community, relaying information and facilitating access to services;
- Other appropriate duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Master's Degree (MA/MS) in Counseling or related field OR
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Psychology, Sociology or a related field with 2 years relevant experience;
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
