What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Acquisition Coordinator position at Oaks Construction?
Oaks Inc is looking for an entry-level Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join the team. This person will be responsible for overseeing the recruiting/hiring process for all brands including Oaks Roofing and Siding, Oaks Dumpster Rental, Kitchens by Oaks, Quality Homes of Rochester, Graves Bros Home Improvement, Four Seasons Collision, Woodeez Tree Service and any other companies or positions that are affiliated.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct sourcing activities to fill open positions including active recruiting and “seeking out” qualified applicants.
· Build relationships with internal hiring managers to gain insight and knowledge of the positions that we’re hiring for as well as potential future needs.
· Research and assess job boards to find the best way to post various openings depending on industry and qualifications.
· Manage recruitment and selection process and work directly with hiring managers to gather job descriptions, salary and hiring need.
· Serve as brand ambassador at hiring events such as career fairs or on-campus recruiting events.
· Build relationships with local colleges to serve as a source for potential hires for the organization.
· Represent companies internally and externally at events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities.
· Counsel the candidate on corporate benefits, salary, and corporate environment.
· Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities.
· Manage and administer onboarding process include all new hire paperwork for employees.
· Update Owner and Human Resources Manager on current open positions as well as being proactive for upcoming talent acquisition initiatives.
· Suggest new ideas for improving talent acquisition activities.
· Research talent acquisition trends in the staffing industry.
· Other miscellaneous Human Resource activities to assist HR department as assigned.
Requirements:
· At least 2 years of customer service or sales experience.
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
· Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
· Effective communicator.
. Ability and desire to spend majority of your time making outbound calls to applicants.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
