Manager Power Platform Automation (Onsite Shelton, CT)

Global retailer based in Shelton, CT is looking for a Manager of Power Platform Automation. This position is onsite in Shelton, CT 4 days/week. You will have 2 direct reports.

Role Overview

The Manager of Power Platform Automation is responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives that improve operational excellence efficiency, strengthen process governance, and deliver measurable business value across the company.

Responsibilities

Operational Excellence and Program Management

• Lead cross-functional operational excellence initiatives by partnering with business teams, stakeholders, and IT to assess current processes, identify gaps, and define improvement opportunities that increase productivity, reduce cost, improve quality, and deliver measurable KPIs.
• Develop business cases, project charters, roadmaps, process maps, requirements documentation, dashboards, training materials, and executive-level presentations to support operational transformation and continuous improvement programs.

Process Improvement, Automation, and Digital Enablement

• Identify, prioritize, and sponsor opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and digitize business processes using Microsoft 365, Power Platform, SharePoint, workflow automation, reporting tools, and other approved solutions.
• Lead technical and operational feasibility assessments with IT developers, solution owners, and business stakeholders to determine the right approach for each improvement opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems is preferred.
• 3 years of experience leading Application / Power Platform Development teams, business transformation, process improvement, or technology-enabled improvement initiatives.
• 2 years managing cross-functional projects and partnering with business leaders, technical teams, and stakeholders to optimize processes and deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Ability to build alignment, influence to drive sustainable change across diverse teams and functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to produce clear documentation, executive presentations, project updates, and training materials for technical and non-technical audiences.
