Oakley Place Senior Living is a family-owned Home Plus community providing personalized care in a home-like setting. We specialize in memory care and pride ourselves on strong staffing, compassionate care, and a team-first culture.

Position Overview

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the community
  • Conduct resident assessments and manage levels of care
  • Ensure compliance with Kansas regulations (KDADS)
  • Supervise and support CNAs, CMAs, and nursing staff
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and coverage
  • Communicate with families and lead care plan meetings
  • Coordinate with physicians, hospice, pharmacy, and home health
  • Maintain accurate documentation in ECP system

Qualifications

  • Active Kansas LPN or RN license (Required)
  • Current Kansas Adult Care Home Operator License (Required)
  • Experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for senior care and team leadership

Requirements

  • Must be able to participate in on-call rotation
  • Must live within 30 minutes of the Oakley Place Topeka community

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive process improvements by analyzing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and deploying effective solutions to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate business development initiatives and expand organizational capabilities.
  • Manage large-scale projects from inception through execution, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
  • Negotiate contracts and partnerships that support operational growth and strengthen stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

  • Proven management experience with a strong track record in leading diverse teams within a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in strategic planning with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills at the senior management level, inspiring teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience in business development and vendor management.
  • Extensive background in project management, process improvement, and operations management.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relevant educational background such as a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field; advanced degrees are a plus. Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
