We are currently seeking a full time Van Driver for our Mishawaka location. The pay rate is $17.64.
Primary duties:
- Will provide transportation for Oaklawn clients at the Mishawaka campus and their families for appointments, visitations, court appointments, etc.
- Will drive outside of St Joseph County and long distances to Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Kokomo and other locations.
- Will receive assignments directly from the Team Leader.
- Schedule will include weekends and holidays for coverage
- Will receive work assignments and discuss any unusual problems or concerns regarding clients or the transportation function.
- Will interact with clients and staff about transportation for their clients.
- High School education or GED preferred.
- In absence of High School Diploma or GED equivalent, the position requires previous 1 year experience in Transportation/Driving.
- A valid driver's license is required with the For Hire Endorsement ( FOR HIRE – NON CMV ONLY), depending on the vehicle driven.
- Must have a safe driving record.
- Must pass a driving test, facilitated by Oaklawn

- Driving under the influence/Operating while Intoxicated (DUI/OWI) in the past three years
- Reckless Driving in the past three years
- License is currently suspended
- No Proof of Financial Responsibility in the past three years
- More than three moving violations in the past three years
