General Summary:Do you enjoy keeping things organized, working with people, and making sure important details are handled with care? As an Office Support Clerk at the Oakland County Circuit Court, you’ll provide essential clerical and administrative support to ensure court operations run smoothly. In this role, you’ll assist the public, support court staff, and manage a variety of records and documents with accuracy and professionalism. Every day brings an opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and fairness of the court system.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide reception and customer service support by assisting the public, court staff, and attorneys with professionalism and tact.
- Search, retrieve, and input data using court software while ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
- Prepare, process, and format documents such as memos, reports, and court orders.
- Maintain and safeguard records, including those with restricted or nonpublic access, and operate scanning equipment to index digital files.
- Assist with special projects and updates as laws or court policies change.

Required Minimum Qualifications:At the time of application, applicants must:
- Be a high school graduate or have a certificate of successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) Test.
- Have had at least six (6) months of full-time clerical work experience.
