Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including IV infusions and inhalation therapies.

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols while handling medications.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and educating patients on medication usage.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes.
- Perform inventory management tasks, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring medication supplies.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare staff regarding patient needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a pharmacy technician training program is preferred.
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of critical care practices, acute care environments, and aseptic techniques.
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
