We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bilingual Pharmacy Technician (English & Spanish) to join our retail pharmacy team in San Fernando, CA. The ideal candidate will support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, assist patients with prescription needs, and help maintain an organized and efficient pharmacy environment.This position requires excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist licensed pharmacists by preparing and dispensing medications (counting, pouring, labeling, packaging).Process incoming prescriptions accurately, including data entry into the pharmacy system.Read and interpret prescription information, including drug name, strength, dosage, and special instructions.Provide outstanding customer service: answer patient questions, address concerns, and handle refill requests.Process insurance claims, prior authorizations, and troubleshoot coverage issues.Maintain accurate patient profiles and medication records.Manage pharmacy inventory: order, stock, rotate, and check for expired medications.Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant pharmacy work area.Support pharmacist with prescription refill requests and communications with prescribers.Assist in training pharmacy technician trainees or support staff when needed.Skills & QualificationsActive California Pharmacy Technician License/Certification requiredBilingual in English & Spanish (required)Previous retail pharmacy experience preferredFamiliarity with medical and pharmaceutical terminologyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesAbility to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
