What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finish Carpenter position at Oakcrest Construction?
Since 1993, Oakcrest Construction has been serving residential and commercial customers throughout Southwest Washington and Oregon. Spanning over three decades, we have earned a reputation of high-quality work for major builders in the Pacific Northwest. We are looking for select experienced and motivated individuals to expand our team of professionals.
Candidates must:
Be capable of working independently, providing high-quality workmanship and follow instructions given by Lead carpenter;
Handle multiple projects at one time, working with tight deadlines, while remaining flexible;
Demonstrate critical thinking to solve issues and ownership of assigned tasks;
Able to meet the demands of walking and standing for long periods of time, frequent, bending, kneeling, twisting, squatting;
Climb up and down scaffold and ladders;
Able to lift, carry and move materials of various sizes;
Use common power and hand tools used in finish carpentry work;
Prepare material to specification;
Install, with precision, millwork (including base, windows, doors, crown molding);
Comply with all L& I safety standards.
