Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented finish carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finish carpentry, with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship. This role involves working on residential and commercial projects, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and client expectations. The finish carpenter will play a crucial role in transforming spaces, enhancing functionality, and improving aesthetics.
The winning candidate will be paid a competitive wage depending on experience, full benefits including paid vacation, health insurance, dental insurance and sick time (separate from vacation). We are looking for a team player with at least 3 years professional finish carpentry experience. The majority of the work will be for bathroom remodels done in partnership with our plumbing company and include the responsibilities below. In addition to the responsiblities listed below this person will also oversee maintainting shop organization, checking in and putting away parts, maintaining selective inventory and building and installing of shelves for our vans.
Responsibilities
- Cabinet installation finish work.
- Install doors and fixtures with precision to enhance functionality and design.
- Window installation.
- Execute bathroom remodeling projects from start to finish in partnership with our plumbing company, including planning, execution, and final touches.
- Perform water damage restoration to ensure properties are safe and structurally sound.
- Selective demolition.
- Structurally sound, safe and industry standard framing.
- Sheet rock installation.
- Shower and tub tile prep (jet board).
- Water proofing.
- Finish trim.
- Some concrete and small footings.
- Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate execution of designs.
- Fabricate components as needed for custom installations or repairs.
Requirements
- Proven professional experience in finish carpentry.
- Proficiency to perform all the listed responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks safely.
- Valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications
