Oak Terrace Senior Living of St. Peter is currently seeking motivated, dependable & compassionate individuals who are eager to to join our outstanding direct care team! Currently we have opportunities available on our Overnight Awake Resident Assistant position. This position includes differential pay for hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am.
About the Role: As a direct care team member, you will work closely with our on-site Registered Nurse and team of care givers to provide personalized, hands-on care to our residents. Your role is vital in supporting their daily routines, promoting dignity, and helping them live in comfort and with purpose.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the safety of each resident during sleeping hours
- Medication passing & overnight treatments & procedures
- Assisting residents with bathroom schedule and as needed cares
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Communicating resident needs and observations to nursing staff
- Working collaboratively as part of a committed care team
