We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our Fairfield Inn and Suites Waco South hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming experience and providing exceptional guest services. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of hospitality management, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities and hotel management experience are highly valued to enhance guest relations and support smooth hotel operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, providing information and handling reservations
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate guest records and manage reservations using hotel management software
- Handle night audit responsibilities, including balancing accounts and preparing reports
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs efficiently
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette and guest relations throughout all interactions
- Assist in managing front desk operations during peak hours or staff shortages
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle night audit procedures if required
- Professional appearance with a friendly demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed
