The HR Assistant responsibilities include:
- Process new hire paperwork
- Provide scheduling data, including maintaining previous schedules
- Track attendance, provide disciplinary forms to managers as needed
- Assist the scheduler with maintenance of a master schedule and a daily schedule, including reaching out to staff to fill any openings
- Meet and work with leaders in the organization to understand staffing needs
- Work with schools and other organizations to improve the applicant pipeline
- Make sure employees time is properly tracked for payroll purposes
HR Assistant Qualifications:
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle challenging situations
- Attentive to details
- Previous experience working with scheduling preferably in a healthcare setting
- Previous experience dealing with employee relations
