Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team at Oak Knoll Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. As a key member of our leadership team, the ADON will play a crucial role in managing the clinical operations of the department of nursing, developing care plans, and supervising staff to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the clinical operations of the department of nursing, including developing care plans and allocating workload to staff
- Prepare daily schedules and plan shifts and rotations for all nursing staff
- Provide supervision and guidance to staff on their daily duties
- Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Analyze and implement recommendations for audits and evaluations
- Identify opportunities for improvement and suggest corrections in working systems
- Offer training and education to staff and plan for optimal resource utilization
- Ensure patient satisfaction and satisfaction and evaluate overall performance of the nursing staff
