Facility transportation’s primary responsibility is for the safety of our residents. It will be their responsibility to meet the transportation needs of the residents and facility. This does include variable hours and weather situations. The driver will have the responsibility to maintain facility vehicles, including maintenance and coordinating repairs. They will also maintain any required records including mileage and maintenance. They will assist in loading, unloading, and escorting residents to and from various appointments and facilities.
Qualifications include a valid driver's license, safe driving record, and must be at least 21 years of age. Driver must be CPR certified. Long-term care or geriatrics experience preferred. Time management and the ability to work under tight time frames is necessary.
