What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver-Transportation position at Mitchell Grocery Corporation?
Drivers employed at the Mitchell Grocery Distribution Center are responsible for the safe and timely delivery of products to Mitchell Grocery customers. In addition, drivers are responsible for pick-up and delivery of backhauls to Mitchell Grocery. Drivers are home every day. Applicants should have a current commercial driver’s license, the ability to pass a Department of Transportation physical, pass a required Company-administered road test, two years of driving experience (required), a good work history, and a safe driving record. The desired candidate will have the ability to deal with customers on a daily basis, work independently to accomplish tasks according to assigned schedules, and able to work flexible hours including weekends.
