Job Title: Part-Time Busser
Location: Oak & Alchemy – Woodstock, IL
Job Type: Part-Time
Oak & Alchemy is a smokehouse, wood-fired pizza restaurant, and full-service cocktail bar located in Woodstock, IL. We are looking for energetic, dependable bussers to help create an exceptional dining experience for every guest.
As a busser, you'll play a critical role in keeping the dining room running efficiently by resetting tables, assisting servers, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant and take pride in helping a team succeed, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and efficiently
- Assist servers with food delivery, drink refills, and guest requests
- Keep dining room, patio, and service stations clean and fully stocked
- Refill ice, glassware, silverware, napkins, and other service supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and guest-facing areas throughout the shift
- Help run food when needed
- Assist with opening and closing side work
- Support the front-of-house team wherever needed to ensure smooth service
Requirements
- Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
