O’Riley & Conway’s Irish Pub, a well-established bar and restaurant in downtown Janesville, is seeking dedicated, professional, and personable part-time Bartenders and Servers to join our team. Position Overview
We are hiring part-time team members for bartending, serving, or a combination of both. Ideal candidates will bring strong customer service skills, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the dining or drinking experience
- Prepare and serve beverages in accordance with recipes and safety guidelines
- Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and/or dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations during shifts
- Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous experience in bartending or serving is preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right candidate
- A valid bartending license is preferred (or a willingness to obtain one if hired)
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Familiarity with the Toast POS system is a plus
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $3.50 - $8.00 per hour
